StockWatch 1.0 - Your personal, online investment tracker
Introduction
StockWatch makes it easier for you to track your investments online. Instead of firing up a web browser and looking for the latest stock quotes, StockWatch brings them straight to your desktop, with a customized portfolio of your favorite stocks.
How to Use
StockWatch is very easy to figure out and use. To get quotes, type the ticker symbol for the company you want to get quotes for into the text box in the main window, then hit Return or click Query. When the program finishes getting the information, you can add that symbol to your portfolio by clicking the Add button in the Portfolio palette. To remove an entry from the Portfolio, select it and click Delete. To get quotes based on the portfolio entry, double-click the symbol or select the entry and click View. To edit the name of the entry, simply click the name and type normally. If you don't know a company's symbol, use the Symbol Lookup palette.
Getting Assistance
If you need technical support or have a question, comment or suggestion relating to StockWatch, please e-mail us at support@domainsoftworx.com. Registered users always take priority when it comes to support issues.
Registration
StockWatch is not free. Registration only costs $12, and all limitations and shareware notices will be removed when you register and enter your registration code. To register, use the enclosed Register application, or visit http://order.kagi.com/?XRI
Sources
StockWatch gets stock quotes from CheckFree (http://www.secapl.com/). The symbol lookup feature also uses CheckFree to search for symbols.
HTTP Proxy Support
Unfortunately, StockWatch does NOT support HTTP proxies at this time. In future, we plan to incorporate support for proxy servers, probably in the next release of StockWatch.
